Richard Granados joined FRW Board of Directors in 2017. Richards holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from UCLA and is a UCLA Alumni Advocate-UCLA Government Relations. Following his internship with California State Department of Mental Health, he was hired as a Social Worker assisting participants in their client services health program goals. Richard received his Secondary Credential in Social Sciences at California State University, Los Angeles. He served as a high school instructor and football/basketball coach for several years. Richard has worked as a Small-Group sales executive for Blue Shield of California, for Universal Care Health Plans as a benefit sales executive. Currently, Richard is a licensed Independent Insurance Broker specializing in personal, business, life & benefits plans with First Way Insurance. He has been active in Kiwanis for 37 years; served as Kiwanis Club President for four different clubs; elected Distinguished Lt. Governor of the California Nevada Hawaii District of Kiwanis International. Currently, Richard is President-Elect of the Kiwanis Club of Fontana. Richard came to FRW’s Board of Directors to support ongoing programs that assist individuals to build skills and confidence in self-worth and belief in one’s own abilities.
